Using only the finest quality materials the Residences have a carefully selected natural finish throughout. The hand made and custom manufactured furniture is primarily made of coconut timer selected specifically for its grain, colour and texture. Wooden flooring in the villas and the deck area is made of timber selected specifically for its sustainability in salt water climates.
The generously spaced living area features a TV with DVD player and surround sound music system, a private in-room DVD and music CD collection and satellite TV channels. Romantic candle lit dinners can be enjoyed beneath the stars on the private deck area that looks out to sea.
The bedroom with walk in closet features a super king size bed (2m x 2m) with custom made mattress and satin finished bed linen. Although the villas are fully air conditioned they are designed to maximise natural ventilation supported by carefully selected 'whisper quiet' ceiling fans and the bedroom can be opened up on various sides allowing you to almost sleep outdoors. The bathrooms are a blend of modern and traditional styles, combining timber with stone such as granite, slate and onyx. The bathroom features a double sink handmade from a single piece of granite.
Raw silk blinds, subtle and discrete mood lighting, oversize cushions and pillows scattered on the various sofas and extra wide day beds strategically scattered throughout the property all add to the elegance and sumptuous feel of these villas.

Located in the Central Indian Ocean 595km south of India and 650km southwest of Sri Lanka, the Maldives is an archipelago of small coral islands consisting of 1,196 islands in 26 natural atolls.
Dhonakulhi is a large crescent shaped island with a beach length of 1.4 kilometres on each side, a width of 500 metres and a land area of 234,000m2. The turquoise waters of the shallow waist deep lagoon surrounding the Island stretch as far as the eye can see. The entire island and the lagoon are the exclusive and private domain of the guests. This island hideaway is reached by a 45 minute scenic flight from the international airport at Male followed by a 20 minute speedboat ride to the Dhonakulhi Island.
Designed to blend nature and luxury in some of the largest accommodations of any resort in the Maldives, these villas scattered along the shoreline and tucked into lush green scenery are spaced some 30 metres apart and all boast spectacular breathtaking views of the beautiful turquoise lagoon and the Indian Ocean.
An important element of any holiday is the dining and with an emphasis on securing quality produce from the very best sources, a truly gastronomic experience is offered at the beachfront restaurants. The Matheefaru Restaurant with its spectacular sunset views offers succulent Maldivian and international cuisine and grills and the Gaafushi Restaurant with it spectacular sunrise views serves authentic Asian cuisine and seafood specialities.
