Estate Il Cigno consists of two spectacular villas, located on the shore of Lake Como. These luxurious villas offer stunning views of the lake and have recently been restored and refurbished. The villas can be rented separately (4811 & 4813), or combined, in either circumstance your complete privacy is assured.

Villa 4811 is a splendid multi-level residence featuring a frescoed entrance hall and a music room. On the courtyard level,you will find the central living room, luxuriously furnished down to the finest Italian linens and antiques from the owners collection and boasting a 1911 Steinway model piano. There is a beautiful dining room, with fireplace and a large, fully equipped kitchen. The first floor has an additional living room with fireplace, as well as a laundry room. There are three queen bedrooms all with en suite bathrooms located on the first floor, two have views of the lake and one overlooks the courtyard. The second floor features a living room and a bar/kitchenette. There are also two lake view bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, each with twin beds that can be converted to queens and an additional queen bedroom and twin bedroom, each with en suite bathrooms with shower.

Villa 4813 is a magnificent residence that at lake shore level features a frescoed entrance hall, a reading room with fireplace, and a library. On the roof-floor level, a frescoed cupola with central balcony provides breathtaking views. The main lake shore level features a frescoed salon, fully-equipped kitchen, a guest bathroom with shower, a laundry room, and a dining room with a double fireplace and access to the lake-shore terrace. There are six bedrooms in this house. On the garden-floor level, there is one queen bedroom and one twin bedroom that can be converted to a queen. Each room has a library, fireplace, dressing room, en suite bathroom, and a balcony on the lake. There is another twin bedroom, which can be converted to a queen, with an adjacent bathroom. On the roof-floor level, there is one twin bedroom with an independent bathroom. Two lake-view twin bedrooms can be converted to queens, each with an en suite bathroom.

Facilities include air-conditioning, underground parking and villa inter connections,a private embark dock, a 9-foot swimming pool, three separate sundecks with a panoramic view of the lake, broadband Internet access and 36-inch TV in both houses with satellite TV/DVD. A flood-lit landscaped park of approx 2,000 sq ft surrounds the estate. Boat rental and a private, 10 seat Cessna Caravan seaplane is available at an additional cost.

The two residences enjoy spectacular, unobstructed views of Lake Como and are separated by a historic harbor flanked with ancient terracotta statues. The estate is located down a long, gated road (quarter-mile) guarded by a quaint old gatehouse in the midst of seven acres of luxuriant gardens and woods. From the property's park, you can exit through a private gate and enter the Lake Shore Village, with its charming garden and lovely pergola, square on the harbor, and 17th-century church.
