Situated in the open countryside just outside Florence,this villa is a cozy hideway, completely and lovingly restored into a beautiful and comfortable holiday home featuring Tuscan antiques and ceramics. This lovely stone house is part of a large estate, which includes a 17th century villa. The property is ideal for families and couples who wish to visit Florence and the nearby Tuscan towns as well as relax in the beautiful countryside just outside the city centre. Larger groups can also rent a second villa nearby (Villa 4799 which sleeps 8).

A warm terracotta tile floor, original exposed stonewalls and wooden beam ceilings invite you into this property's living room. The living room is adjacent to the spacious kitchen equipped with an oven, washing machine and refrigerator, the perfect spot for relaxing with a bottle of wine around its cosy fireplace. Walk out of the kitchen and directly into La Florenza's large and peaceful private garden. A small guest bathroom with shower completes the accommodation on this level. Upstairs you'll find a beautiful queen bedroom and one king/twin bedroom which share a shower room. These rooms have some lovely features such as large, gorgeous arched windows opening onto the surrounding vineyards.

Just 10 yards from the villa in the garden of the estate is a discreetly placed swimming pool (5.30 x 12.50 m) which is shared with guests of a neighbouring villa located just across the driveway. The garden, surrounded by olive trees, is ideal for barbecues, and is equipped with a sun terrace with chairs, table and shades. The garden is very large and provides guests complete peace and privacy. Private parking is provided.

Horseback riding is 2 miles away, fishing is within walking distance, and an 18-hole golf course is nearby. The nearest town with shops and markets is 1 mile away. A bus to Florence departs outside the villa gate every 15 minutes. Three restaurants are within walking distance, practically on your door step!

Tour the cathedral with its pink, white and green marble façade and marvel at its remarkable Duomo by Brunelleschi and the gold Paradise door of the Baptistry. Continue to the Piazza della Signoria, the political heart of Florence since the 1300s, then stroll the charming shops of Ponte Vecchio. Florence offers some of Italy's best shopping, textiles, leather goods, fashion, jewellery and ceramics are all specialties. The small fortress cities are within easy driving distance of one another, and each offers its own special appeal, from San Gimignano to Pienza. Other cities to include in your excursion are Arezzo, with its grand plaza and Roman amphitheatre, Lucca, with its olive groves and impressive Renaissance walls, and seaside resorts like Viareggio, Elba, and Forte de Marmi. Siena and Pisa, both also important art cities, are also not to be missed. Siena is a beautifuly preserved medieval city, constructed of checkerboard brick, and crowned by its Duomo. It was the seat of the Ghibellines who often crossed swords with the Florentine Guelfs during the 13th century. Other highlights of Siena include the beautiful Piazza del Campo, and the tower rising from the Palazzo Pubblico. A day trip to the lovely ancient city of Pisa is also a must, where you can see the famous leaning tower, and much more.
