The property was built in the second half of the 16th century by the Marcello family, one of the most powerful and noble families of Venice. This enormous 16^th century complex in Palladian style is constructed with a central main building which is flanked on both sides by arcaded wings (one of which houses the apartment) which frames an ‘Italian' style garden with a fountain, Greek mythical statues, flower beds, lawns and bushes.

The 4 bedroom apartment was restored and partially refurnished in 2004, the walls have the original marble plaster surface and most rooms have parquet floor and plaster decorated ceilings, while the bathrooms are furnished with hand painted ‘Vietri' tiles and high standard bath furniture.

In the entrance you will find a marble stairs that lead to the first floor.

The first floor consists, a spacious living room furnished with sofa, arm chairs,TV (with local and limited Satellite channels), CD player, DVD player and an open bar. The kitchen/diner is fully equipped with an oven & hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and dining table which comfortably seats 8. Also on this floor is the first of the four bedrooms, this is a double bedroom suite with en-suite bathroom and private sitting room

A wooden staircase leads to the upper floor, you will find a further 3 bedrooms, a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom, a double bedroom and a twin bedroom with private living room, both bedrooms share a family bathroom with bath tub and fixed shower.

All of the bedrooms over look the main Italian style garden. For your comfort all of the bedrooms are fitted with air conditioning units with individual temperature control.

Notes to Rental Rates

A refundable security deposit of 600 Euros is required to cover any damages or breakages to the property.

Rates include: Air conditioning, Wi-Fi internet access, housekeeping,maid service,linen and bath towel change twice per week, final cleaning and concierge service.

Rates do not include: (available at an extra charge). Heating laundry and ironing service,extra maid service. Telephone charges. Daily breakfast, lunch and dinner service with personal chef. Babysitting.
