A stunning, luxurious 400 year old, 600 sqm farmhouse located at the top of a Tuscan hill, completely private with 360 degree views of the Chianti countryside. Recently refurbished to the highest standard with travertine floors, handmade tiles, contemporary furniture and modern art.

The property is constructed around an external courtyard; all downstairs rooms look out or lead directly to the courtyard.

Step inside the farmhouse to a magnificent galleried entrance hall, leading off is the master sitting room with an ornamental fireplace and indoor bar area perfect for relaxing after dinner. A guest's cloakroom is located on this level.

Overlooking the courtyard is a fabulously large Italian designer kitchen featuring a gas hob, two electric ovens, two dishwashers, fridge, freezer, wine cooler, and microwave. The kitchen leads into a dining room that comfortably seats 14, with stunning panoramic views, glass doors lead onto the covered pergola dining area.

The first of the five bedrooms is located on the ground floor; this is a double bedroom with pull-out sofa bed and ensuite shower room.

Four further bedrooms are located on the first floor. The master double bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with bath and shower and there is two further double bedrooms and twin bedroom with ensuite shower rooms. The twin bedroom has 2 extra single beds.

Upstairs you will find a sitting room with books, TV, DVD player and a selection of films..

Outside you will discover 2 hectares of landscaped garden with a large 12 x 6 m infinity edge swimming pool with walk in steps, surrounded by a terrace equipped with pool furniture. The large central courtyard contains BBQ and pizza oven, a pergola covered dinning terrace and a “bar zone “ terrace with outdoor furniture leading from the large sitting room, over looking the pool.

The property features games room includes games and puzzles for all ages, a pool table and football table

Rates include: Heating, gas, electiricity and underfloor heating. Benvenuti Groceries, Concierge services, 2 hours cleaning per day of communal indoor and outdoor areas plus mid week clean of bathroms and bedrooms., weekly linen change and twice bathroom linen change.

Rates not included: Additional cleaning, extra linen changes, laundry service, cooking, pre-ordered grocery items, guided tours and driver.

I really don't know where to begin. We had never before been to Tuscany but had read quite a lot about the area. The whole holiday was a joy from beginning to end. We couldn't quite believe how green it was everywhere, particularly when you consider the intense heat. We found the countryside absolutely stunning, so too the picturesque little towns and villages in and around the area. As for the villa... well.....utterly stunning location, views to die for - . Outside - the pool was as if from a film set, immaculately kept gardens all around...nothing to disturb the peace except for the occasional buzz from a large turquoise beetle, butterflies enjoying the lavender and the brief afternooncompany of a number of swifts or swallows coming for a dive and a sip from the pool.The numerous terraces and seating areas provided lots of opportunities to sit in shade or sun and enjoy a coffee or a pre dinner glass or two of something chilled!David and I had the 'annexe', so were completely self contained should we have needed to be. Shower and washing facilities stylishwith always plenty of hot water andfluffy towels. Lots of wardrobe and drawer space too. The main villa had every possiblefacility from gym equipment andgames area to large lounge, dining room andfully equippedkitchen and utility area ....numerous bedrooms with en suite facilities, again all beautifully furnished and equipped. The welcome pack was much more than that really, with chilled wine, beer, water and drinks for the children and a lovely touch a basket with fresh bread, pasta and olive oil... what more could you ask for? Help came daily from the gardener, who kept the pool area and gardens close to the villa immaculateand from Eleanor, who helped keep the kitchen and bathrooms fresh and clean and came with a cheery smile. I wish I had learned a few Italian phrases, I could have managed French, Spanish and even a little German....but Italian, no ... another time hopefully! It was particularly hot during our stay...maybe it would getter hotter still in August -and we were all very thankful for the fans to keep us cool and allow us to sleep at night. The whole family agreed it had been a terrific holiday, maybe the best ever for most of us. The villa itself and the stunning location will behard to beat. Many thanks .... One day we would love to come again.

Trip of a lifetime! Spectacular views are just the beginning. Luxury accommodations, sunsets and wine by the infinity pool, andauthentic Tuscan experiences made this trip everything I imagined and more. Whether it was spending countless hours looking at the stunning countryside or simply relaxing with friends, food and wine, the villa delivers all that it promises. Tons of space to be with friends or family and lots of rooms to have your privacy as well (not that you can't find that by taking a short stroll around the property!) Definitely recommend checking out the local village of Gaiole and absolutely recommend the Wine tasting tour. Only thing that could have made this vacation better was staying longer!

Thanks very much for all you help in arranging what we all agreed has been the best family holiday we have had. We have stayed in many villas over the years, but never found the attention to detail that we enjoyed at this villa. The little things like travel plugs and mosquito repellent were all more than we expected, but as for what we did expect, we were blown away: the gardens, the house, the pool, the views, the cycling, the towns, the restaurants...... When can we come back?

My family & I stayed in this beautiful Tuscan villa for one week & I must say we had an amazing experience. We arrived to a fabulous welcome grocery pack with wine chilling in the fridge. That night dinner was prepared & served by a lovely Italian lady. Our week was very relaxing & we felt we had a true Italian experience, eating al fresco & enjoying the views as the sun was setting.I highly recommend this beautiful home for your taste of Tuscany.

Our stay at the villa was beyond exceptional and we all enjoyed ourselves very much. Also, my husband rode his road bike everyday in Tuscany.......We had a really great trip and look forward to returning to Tuscany next summer.
