Built by Lord Edgecombe of Devon in the late 1700's this colourful and historic villa perches serenely in a picturesque, sheltered location on the western coast of the island. There is an exceptional beauty to this property which overlooks tropical botanical gardens and the sparkling blue waters of the Caribbean Sea.
The complete and immaculate restoration of this authentic historical plantation house has heralded a revival for one of Grenada's oldest plantations. Set within 30 acres of working plantation with an abundance of fruits, spices and vegetables on tap, guests are encouraged to pick directly from the trees and enjoy with their morning coffee fresh from the plantation groves.
Approached by a mile long private road the estate comprises three buildings, the main residence, the "Long House" and the Plantation Great room. The main house comprises of an entrance, hall, living room, kitchen, large wrap around living dining balcony, laundry room, study and snooker room. The main residence features four air conditioned bedrooms and three bathrooms, with a seperate 'Long house' featuring a further two plantation style bedroom suites and two bathrooms.
Extensive sitting rooms, verandahs and terraces provide plenty of options for social gatherings or relaxation. Dining can be enjoyed in either the Main residence or at the Plantation Great room perched on the hillside, open to the breeze and adjoining the jaw droppingly magnificent double infinity pool with stunning sea views. Timber sun decks surround the pool for simple relaxation enjoying soothing breezes and tropical views.
A housekeeper and cook (living in seperate staff quarters) are on hand to ensure an attentive service and cater for guests needs. Villa guests are collected and returned to the airport.
